Carbon sequestration and Sharpei puppy

My favorite new face from today's excursion.

We went out to Garlock’s Christmas Tree Farm this afternoon for a small tree.    I love Christmas tree farms and want to see them continue to be successful.  (It’s sustainable farming, unless global warming forces a change from evergreens to palm trees.) Just think of all that carbon sequestered in the ground in the acres these farms cover.

Garlock’s is a lovely farm, one of three belonging to the same extended family, located in the hills outside of Sebastopol, California.
