Fat robins are hopping around our yard these days. We’re only a robin haven during these rainy winter months—most of the time we don’t see them hanging around.
The only three things in the garden that are growing well right now are the Romaine lettuce, the garlic, and the beets. I’m looking forward to eating those lovely beets in a couple more weeks. They are still small, and when the rain clears again, I’ll thin them and eat greens and baby beets. Sounds yummy for my tummy (and a much better idea for me than that robin’s worm).

early bird gets the worm that.s good because I don’t like worms. dod
I think I’ll send you a care package with dried worms inside–high in protein! Heh, heh, heh,
